Even MORE half-assed crap. I would show you my mostly finished Cuchulain print but it's not finished...and is in another state.

I have moved to New York with relative ease and I must say it is very surprising that only a little over a week ago I was backing away most of my stuff (again).

I am going to miss my Roxbury apartment so damn much, I really am sad that I will never go back there. I will miss my roomate, my neighbors Patrick and Tony, the awesome and sweet Fransicans living down the street, the crazy guys at the market store, the laundromat, the adorable triple deckers...I'm going to make myself sad if I keep going.

Although I love New York. Astoria is very cute. Super-ethnic etc. Here is a list to highlight what I like best:
  • the subway, which is cleaner, wider, runs more places and is timelier than Boston's. Did I mention it runs all of the time instead of just till 12?
  • the streets, which make sense because the are gridded and labeled in a logical way
  • the fact that you can buy beer just about anywhere (pharmacy, grocery store, liquor store, tiny whatever store...)
  • the weather, which is warmer (I like it to be 100 degrees out)
I would say the people are friendlier as a plus but that also means the men are...more piggish and that gets really old really quick.

Not to be hating on Boston or anything but...being here just puts into perspective how small, prudish and quiet Boston is in comparison to New York.

So, yeah, I am so far liking it better. But also, I never had much free time in Boston to hang out and explore like I do here so I might be missing some experiences (also, the ever present ticking clock of the train keeps your from having fun late

Wow, I haven't even talked about my internship at Marvel yet...next post, then.
